In September Trevor Bedeman attended the Moscow conference on post-crisis risk management of the World Bank International Finance Corporation. He presented on the advantages of credit scoring developments for Russian Banks. The presentation is available on the IFC website here.
Also in September, the latest joint London-Risk and Banking Association of Central and Eastern Europe Intensive course on Operational Risk for Financial Organisations was held in Budapest. Specialising in financial services and operational risk and compliance, data sharing including fraud, insurance, and credit.
As Chairman of Insurance Database Services Limited he led the initial development of the Insurance Fraud Bureau, now supported by 32 general insurance companies, over 96% of the UK industry.
He has a risk and data compliance background from Lloyds Banking Group, with substantial experience of many aspects of compliance and operational risk. He prepared and negotiated the Principles of Reciprocity rules for UK credit and related data sharing, which has over 500 participating companies.
Trevor is a registered consultant with the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank in his own right. He is also Managing Consultant of Financial Information Markets based in the United Kingdom.
Trevor is a Professional Member of the Institute of Operational Risk.
